Does anyone else have the single prop ftr engine stop then start back up after being hit by ack? It has happened numerous lately. Seems to be only getting hit by ack.
Rpms and speed drop so it’s not a sound glitch.

I've noticed the stop/start when I get a fuel hit. Maybe it is switching to a different tank????? Just guessing.

What plane are you flying?

I’ve had it happen and Cntrl+D doesn’t show any damage

Have had it happen in the A6Mb for certain a few times.
Also in the 109 G-14 too

May just be a sound issue.
-
Are you using Challengers sound pack?
If so, thats the issue

I tried to install the old sound packages I had from AH2.
Not the one you mentioned. Mitszu or something close to that.
In AH2 I did have it set up for different GV sounds. When I tried this summer to get those back I couldn’t get them to work though.
I’ll check and see. But the last time it happened I believe I saw the RPMs drop

I have had this issue in b17s 2 times this week. No soundpack or anything.

The old sound pack no longer work because HTC went to a different sound delivery system. "Challenger" is the only one who build a sound pack for this new system. His does have an issue of engine start ups.
I havnt run into any other issues like this.

This I have had happen. I miss mapped a button on my stick and with the "auto mode" on when I jumped from pilot to gunner and back again I would shut the engine off and restart it. Check your button mapping to be sure that isnt happening

Different problem.
Yes it has to be because I don’t have your sound pack installed.

Still happening often enough to cause me to crash.
Testing it in a GV - hasn’t happened once.
Several players yesterday said happens to them too - with the AH3 sound pack.
