Thank you to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin.
While flying its 15th mission on D Day the 646th BS A-20G "Mary Ruth" was shot down, its pilot Lt. Goodchild killed and the two gunners captured by the Germans. When its ground crew was then assigned to service the A-20G of Lt. Clark they named it "Mary Ruth the 2nd", Mary Ruth being the name of the crew chief's wife. This Mary Ruth was rather luckier than the first, completing 59 missions before it was replaced with an A-26 Invader.

Really nice work, G. All the contrast going on makes for a visually striking scheme.

very nice sir.

One of my favorite aircraft. On D-Day it is said that A20s' flew so low and fast that they cut swaths in the top of the Hedge rows.
Beautiful job.

Just gorgeous, Greebo.

Very nice A20 skin, and as always I enjoy the history that goes along with it.
