You had to know this was going to happen this tour.. afterall.. it has better armor than the Ostwind.

Halftracks are tougher than tanks and osties now and can go 2 times as fast. M-16 is now the choice GV.

talk about your quakers! Gv guys are even worse than bombers.... They respawn a block or so from the enemy field, bubling out of the ground like some underground spring... they are mostly open topped and putting a couple hundred rounds of fifty cal into said open top doesn't turn everyone into hamburger like one would expect and...
I know that the GMC 270 6 engine was a tough ol bird (u could punch em out a 1/4 inch) but not when faced with a 600 grain slug.

Had the pleasure of being able to walk around and inspect a M16 at OshKosh EAA flyin last year this time.
What really struck me was the LACK of armour.
Gunner/loader in back would be vulnerable to a farm kid with a bb-gun much less 50 cal MG bullets. Driver had fair protection, mostly from the sides.
Engine looked to be pretty well protected, and I'd guess the halftrack chassis would be pretty sturdy. However it should be very vulnerable to flat tires on the front. Which should make steering difficult, and cut speed.

Yup...ya don't see many Ostys spawning for base defence these days. The word is out on the M16 and peeps are using it's obvious advantages...untill the next patch/version that is :D
BTW...I bombed one yesterday, hitting within 10 feet with a 1K bomb does nothin'...nothin'!!
