The wife and I both got our first Moderna vax last Friday. Only issue was the needle soreness. Nothing else. Our second shot is in about 23 days.

Then expect another one at least once a year for the rest of our lives...variants you know..seems they are coming out of the woodwork.

Every neighborhood should have their own soon...

All for something that doesn't affect 98% of the population anymore than the common cold.

As this one was successful - I expect others to follow

What advice did I give?

It is my opinion and I can express it within the rules of the bbs...

Or should I be cancelled as my opinion is not yours?

In my 1st post I stated I am getting mine..not that I think I need it but to prevent argument with family

Are you saying you don't think you will have to get this shot at least once a year for the rest of your life?

That doesn't concern you?

Have to have your papers in order to be able to get into that show....vaccine app on its way to prove your commitment to the health and safety of others..

We could barely even force people to wear masks indoors in airports. Even if the covid variants mean it doesn't go completely away, there's no way vaccinations will be forced on anyone any more than the yearly flu shot is forced on anyone. Quit the FUD, man.

Got my first dose of Pfizer yesterday, so our arms are both sore. I had a slight fever this morning (about a degree F) and a little lethargy to go with the soreness.  Not a big deal.

Opinions are like buttholes. Everyone's got one, they're all stinky and they should be kept to yourself.

I feel like if that were true we wouldn't have just spent the last year in lock down, shutting down businesses, wearing masks and talking about vaccine passports.

The vax app/card is here

You will not be permitted to do certain things if you are not up to date on your vax status

It is a limitation of your basic freedoms most seem to just swallow without complaint

Sorry if my opinion is too stinking for some here

What basic freedoms (aka rights) are these privately held companies taking away exactly?

Spikes - that remains to be seen but my guess is just about everything from air travel to sporting events to dining out

Enjoy your vax card..be sure to keep it updated and on your person so you have it when asked for

And you guys are ok with this?

Vaxx passports or cards are unconstitutional on every level and would ultimately cause the loss of billions for many companies. Its also very similar to Nazism/communism much like they do in China. A normal, healthy, 30 year old with no problems like myself. Who has not been sick at all, has no reason to get a vaccine. Infact its more of a risk for me to get the vaccine than not.

The why I read many people who got the vaccine.  (Not just here)

"I got sick to hopefully avoid being sick.".

I truely hope the vaccine does prevent colds n all that, but im gonna need atleast a 5 year study.

I invested in the #1 brain/prostate cancer treatment right now using cesium131 isotope seeds with gammatile. All FDA approved. Its taken 2 10 year studies along with FDA approval to prove that it's the most effective. Despite actual studies proving that it's the best brain and prostate treatment with 0 side effects, it's still not the standard of care treatment and many patients with brain tumors are not receiving this treatment even though they would never have another brain tumor again after this treatment. (ISR) check it out. Still cheap.

My point is that if they are still wishy washy about a cancer treatment with  2 proven 10 year studies of effectiveness that clearly beat the competition, than I am going to be wishy washy about a RNA vaccine with less than 2 years of clinical study and no long term study of effectiveness of the vaccine.

Ah ok - just making sure - all of those you mentioned are privately owned businesses and establishments where you have no "basic freedoms" guaranteed.

Vaxx passports or cards are unconstitutional on every level

How so?

I understand where you are coming from Violater I respect that. I myself am 24 going to be 25, I truthfully got it due to taking care of my uncle because of him being bed ridden and also smoking for almost 40 years he has the underlying conditions to potentially catch it which it could kill him. Even my mom who is 59 had double pneumonia when she was working during the freeze bowl of 81. I have been keeping myself safe, but I do want to make sure that I truthfully don't get this stuff my immune system can handle it, but the saying goes. "You never know." That's my opinion on it.

Good chance your life is the way it is because you and everyone else have been vaccinated from our worst disease.  Probably to young to know people that had polio.

It's up to you to weigh the risk.

Spikes - those are private companies that are being instructed by their local governments on how they can run their business - spacing and masks now...spacing, mask and vaccine required soon. Their freedoms have already been restricted along with their livelihoods..

Gov is setting the mandates not private biz

Yes if my 80+ in laws lived with us it would be a different scenario but that is the exception, not the case for most of us..but the gov wants us all to live like we do

But then again if the 80 year old is vaccinated why do I have to be? Why would a mask even be needed?

The only one in that case that could become ill is me!

Their guidelines do not match up now nor have they ever
as they have just kept changing them when the wind blew

But they knew most would except this after time and they were right.

I am going tomorrow to get my 1st shot even though I don't think I need it but it is not worth the headache it would cause with family if I didn't

Sadly I believe vax cards will not only be used but required

I am not sure if that was meant for me NatCigg. But I do remember learning of Polio in school. I also remember the Doctor credited for making the vaccine for that. But I just wanted to stay safe.

My 9th grade English teacher could barely walk and speach was off. Many died. FDR had it, the hid that information as much as possible. Terrible disease.

This one. I dont like the sound of losing my senses, or putting someone in the hospital so their life can be saved.

The reason vax cards would not become law is because the people would not accept it.

Very interesting, important, and real concepts.
