Title: More Green Heart 190's (Adoptions)

Both of these skins are adoptions of the originals done by Larry/Truekill.

2./Jg 54

Originally "Black 1" when skinned by Larry, I decided to skin "Black 2 from the same squadron based on better reference material.

6./Jg 54

Apparently based on only some artist profiles, I decided to follow Larry's original closely with some minor alterations. First, I completely redid the right fuselage half as Larry's was mostly mirrored from the left. Second, I added unit markings to the right side in keeping with the common Jg 54 practice. Third, changed the darkest green splotches to a dark red-brown. It seems that in the spring of 1943 a mix of greens and browns were used on most planes to cover the overall white of Jg 54's 190's. This specific shade closely resembles one used in a well known color photo of a 1./Jg 54 machine. Also, the brown adds further distinction from the other partial snow schemes already in game.

Very nice job Devil.

A lot of the older skins in the game seem to be based on nothing but profiles. I suspect more often than not though that if there are no photos to back a profile up its because they never existed. Some book publisher just said "do a profile of this plane" and the artist just used educated guesswork to make it happen.

Great-looking updates.  Yellow 2 is my favorite scheme.

I want a winter MA map now.  Or at least the northern half of the map could be winter tiles...
