Title: More fun with plastic model box tops

I always loved the art on the covers of the plastic airplane models I bought with my allowance + lawn-mowing earnings as a kid.   In fact, I wish there was a website that had images of every model airplane box cover.   Its kinda fun to mix skins into that genre.   I saw some skinner for a different sim do something like this with his skins years ago, and the impression it made on me lasted.   Just fooling around blending my skin promo screenshots with model boxes:

Yes the art work was/is fantastic. Would be nice to see some of those skins as well. You skinners are awesome, I just don't have the eye for it.  :rock

Your ability to do that is almost as impressive as your skinning prowess.  Is it real or is it Memorex?

Here's the real Lollipoop II model box cover art.   I tried to get as close as I could with lighting and aircraft angle to the original.   I like the red shade of the tail of the painting better, and it appears to have a little bit of gloss to it as well.
