Funny I was thinking about him yesterday remembering the great fun I had on his missions.
I remember a few of them well.

Rip!
Great to hear everything is fine! You're a busy man. Take care of that wonderful family you have. A lot of us have been privy to your youngsters growing up.
You're a great Mom and Dad. Job well done!

Yes you have, I'm very proud of them. They turned out to be 2nd amendment supporting young men! From this, to this!
Eagler, forgive my brainfartiness, but were you not the F15 driver in your career? If so, are you still in TX?
I believe you're thinking of eagl.

You're right. I'm in the process to move to another city and get a new job. I need to buy a new (well, different) car or small truck before they double in price or something.

That would be me.
I retired (22 yrs USAF) a few years ago and now I'm flying for Southwest, living in the LA area. Basically throwing fistfulls of cash into the fire buying SoCal lifestyle for the family and kids, because I can.

Howdy eagl! Glad you're a pilot, and a good company to work for! I retired from BA 3 years ago. My work started to interfere with our hobbies so wife called it quits at 54 and I was 57 when we cashed our chips in.

You Bunch of Old Coots! :rofl At the age of 71 in my case, after I retired 9 years ago, there are certain priorities that do change (and must !)
Don't worry about exercise. You'll make more trips to the bathroom then you've done before. So my tip to you in this area it you walk for exercise, don't. You'll do more "night" walking then ever.
When I retired I retired. Sold the house (and my wife) so I don't have to do maintenance. Living in a grand apartment or condo is great! I often tell the ground crew they missed a spot when mowing the lawn.
Naps! A joy that can't be missed. Taking a nap at anytime (saying the hell with it) is almost an orgasmic experience.......well all most. Some of us, would have at times to spend over 24 straight hours at work, :D and were constantly on call 24 hours a day. My life was not mine. And I made sure that it is damn well mine now.
It's great to see the old folks of the game. Hope all is well for each and everyone of you!

Naps are great Hajo! I have them scheduled into my daily routine.
Honestly, I've never been more active and a "full plate" of to-do items as I have since I retired at 57.
This week we are taking a vacation from retirement. LOL. Visiting family right now in the north woods of Minn.

Good to see these familiar names. You have great looking couple of boys there Rip. Looks like you raised them right. Retirement wont happen for me for a while if ever. Still in the body shop business. Busy as ever. I'm 52 now. Seems like 32 was forever ago. I guess it was lol.

My whole family is off the social media grid. It's too politicized. We are all back to email and phone calls, at least there are no temp bans for being right leaning on old school methods of comms.

I find that plan d wellcare value scripts cover my monthly meds at zero costs to me..
Good luck with your choices!
Happy Easter!

Howdy Eagler. I am signed up with a plan G (Mutual of Omaha) and Wellcare Plan D. Currently I only have 1 med, a pre-hypertenion drug. My goal is to control my need for meds with good diet and exercise, working so far! All blood tests in the Goldie locks zone.

Just saw this today about crazy increases by some companies in some states on their plans..
Mine went up 10% 2 months after I signed up last year ..
Yes exercise and diet are the keys ..you ain't got nothing if you don't have your health

I just about fell out of my chair when I saw an Aces High post notification in my email just now. Still here. 4 grandkids now. Everybody healthy. Thankful for that. It’s been 21 years I think that I’ve flown Aces High. I miss you guys! I found out that our squaddie Milenko (Dave) had sadly passed away a while back. My life consists of running the body shop, doing family stuff, church etc. I’m on the tail end of a 9 year restoration of a 1980 Wellcraft Scarab Miami Vice restomod boat. All is well. Hope you guys are doing well.
