Anyone have their VR crash while playing Aces High?
It might be an issue with my Steam Index, however.

I used to have trouble any time there was an update for either windows, my GPU, or steamvr (or oculus on my old headset). Random crashes, problems starting things up, stuff like that. Once the rest also updated, usually a few day later, things would be back to normal. Last few rounds of updates have been smooth for me though.

Maybe it was a driver or temperature issue.
Time to de-dust the motherboard :)

What do you mean by "crash"? Just so we are talking about same thing :uhoh

Like AH was still playable, but my VR Hardware itself crashed. Both displays in my VR headset for both eyes or whatever just went black and Steam Index lost its "connection" to my computer or whatever.
I doubt it is Aces High's fault, probably a graphics card driver issue or because it was really hot day even with the AC blasting. I think my CPU temps were in the 70sC and my GPU was like 90C
Probably a dust thing I need to fix.

Yup...Puma44 had similar issue...he is Arizona..and heat seemed to be the issue.
What VR are you playing on? I use Oculus. Reason I ask, I had this happen quite a lot. Turns out, it was a "Link Cable" issue. The Cable was getting tugged on, while craning my neck to keep visual on targets. I pulled a bit of slack, through the "Cable Clip" on headset and Zip tied it to prevent sliding of the cable. Its worked 100% Probably TOTALY DIFFERENT, as your "Valve Index",I presume, has to go through more HOOPS than Oculus does. I hated WMM and Steam, when I tried another VR headset. Other than requiring a FaceBook account...more than happy with oculus! If it becomes TOO MUCH BS....let me know! I might have a solution if you are willing!
