Been enjoying summer while its lasting over the last month. Went on one hell of a grind in June and had a blast playing with and against you all. :aok hit something like 800 kills in bombers over that 41 days I was playing along with dominating the damge game by a long shot :rofl
As most of you know im predominantly a logistical player. Rarely am I seen in a figher. I will be looking to change that over the fall as I prepare to invest in an exceptional gaming system capable of running DCS World without a hitch. In years past some of you know I would fly multiple sets of bombers in coordinated strikes in the MA. Im looking to return to that style of play as I am in the process of shopping for 2 laptops that will compliment my main gaming rig I put together at the end of the year. Im about a week or two out from returning to the game and looking forward to providing multiple kill opportunities in my quest to logistically dominate opponents 1 bomb, resupply, and troop at a time  :x
See you soon :salute

ya for sure you will see me when I make my rounds. I will not be sticking to one side permanently however. There's too many old friends spread throughout the game to just stick to one side. The pond isnt getting any larger :old:

Thoroughly enjoyed this feature as it allowed me to perk farm insane amounts of perks rather quickly. Catching it right after map resets was the preferred option. If I town farmed just right and added a kill or two without losing a bird I could snag 400 perks in B17's for a sortie or two before numbers began to balance. Thats 2 sets of 29s for 1 hrs worth of work on most maps.
The thing I found most disappointing overall was getting switched so much that it made my game style pointless. On top of that a lot of times I would get switched when there is great action between 2 sides and its absolutely dead for the 3rd country. Then I was stuck unless i swtiched the feature off and went back.
For the most part I will be picking and choosing my sides based on who I want to support  Appreciate the suggestion :aok

Might get compulsive about this and pick up a total of 4 laptops that will run this game very well for $1100. Just think of those possibilities and variations of coordinated attack...
- 4 sets for strat runs or 2 sets constantly attacking strats.
- 2 sets for attacking primary target bases, 2 sets for secondary targets or backup. Ideal for base small and medium base shut downs and WF towns.
-2-3 sets for base takes and 1-2 sets of troops.
The variations go on and on. The idea being limiting the downtime in between runs as much as possible while causing maximum effective damage. Ive worked 3 sets before but never 4 so it may take a little getting used to. Coordinating strikes isnt that hard for a micro-manager like me. What is tough is trying to defend all of them while proceeding with the plan. Gonna look pretty darn cool too in wingman auto-pilot runing quad delta formations in 12 bombers :x

4 laptops for 1100 or 1100 each that will run the game?
You mind sharing what laptops you are looking at?

Also buying a Wifi booster kit for the house to set this command station up in the basement and gonna try and buy 2 or 3 3d pro sticks if I can find them online.
These machines wil get the job done for what I need to do in the game. 2 of them may not even pull steady 60fps and thats ok. Anything above 30fps i can work with.
In about a month im gonna upgrade each machine the nest I can. My aim is to have each machine with at least 16gb of ram.
-
The big reason for all this is im gonna have a few guys playing with me as I introduce the game to them. They are older and into this kind of stuff from their younger days. Do these are great starter machines. It will keep them busy for sure. With my work schedule I will only have a day or 2 to play for the forseable future so for the most part 1 or 2 of them will be on playing when im at work.

That' pretty cool!. I didn't think you could get a laptop for that cheap that would run it. You getting them from ebay amazon or somewhere else if you don't mind my asking

2 are private listings from facebook market the other 2 were kisted on craigslist who has is own business refurbishing laptops and pcs, repairs and new builds for 20years.
When ot comes to laptops its could to have hdmi ports so you can hook up to large tv's with good 1080p resolution. Those you can get for around $100.
Granted I am in BFE Kansas so im sure that plays a part in the costs as well.

they are very excited about getting to try this game! Im gonna start them off slow in the TA and gradually work them into MA. As it stands i purchased 1 laptop today in great condition for 200. So just 3 more to go. Problem is im co sidering buying this one laptop for $1k thats going to serve other needs outside the gane so I may bot get a chance to have more than 3 laptops over the bext few weeks.

sometimes and it will be up to 4. Its impossible to do this with fighters. Takes a lot of micromanaging but with bombers its a lot of fun. The majority of the time 2 or 3 other actual people will be playing on these accounts while im at work.

Amazon and Logitech store had them for around 35 a piece a few weeks ago.
For flying buffs and mouse gunnery it's a great stick as it doesn't break or tire out with constant ruddering. I fly with my left hand and gun with mouse in my right
The t flight stick x and hotas wouldn't last 3 months if you are inclined to fly buffs low with flaps and rudder work nor would I bet on a T16000M
