Thank you to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin.
"Blondie's Demon" was an early production B-26 that was originally assigned to the 22nd BG in June 1942. The 22nd BG was based in Australia and New Guinea and attacked Japanese bases and shipping as far away as Rabaul, often with no fighter escort. After a year of service with the group's 33rd BS, where it was named by various crews as "Bucket O Bolts", "Hoosier Miss" and "Red Raider" it was transferred to the same group's 19th Bomb Squadron in June 1943. Here it had its camouflage paint stripped off to the natural metal finish used exclusively at this time by the 19th BS, who dubbed themselves the "Silver Fleet". It also received its new name and nose art showing a bulldog and bomb. "Blondie's Demon" flew 43 missions with the 19th BS and survived to be scrapped in January 1944.

almost makes me blush to see such an unclothed aircraft. Love the glare in the last screenshot!
I just re-read "Angels Twenty" by Edwards Park. He was a P-39 pilot in New Guinea in 1943, and talked about encountering the "silver fleet" on one mission. Apparently the B-26 Marauder was considered a look-like to the Japanese Betty bomber - easy to mis-identify.
