I remember back in the old days there were a set of help pages somewhere that laid out the strat system and how the different component interacted and effected each other's ability, down time. Is all that gone? It's certainly well hidden if not.
Is there even a strat system now at all? Or is it just independent airfields now?
If so, were are the interactions, effects, and interdependencies documented?
Thanks.

Field objects (ammo, radar, fuel tanks, auto guns, town buildings, barracks) stay down 30 minutes.
You can increase downtime by killing the corresponding factory before porking field or killing town. A factory/city at 0% increases downtime by 120 minutes.
The only thing I don't know for sure if there' still a working convoy system these days, haven't seen any trucks since I rejoined 2 months ago. If so, killing a truck/barge would add a small amount of downtime to already destroyed field objects.
-
Convoys can be added to the new maps, however they have no impact on down times, if destroyed.
-
Thanks.
And players can resupply both base objects and factories to reduce their down time?
I understand which factories control field objects, but you said the city effects something? The big 4 mile city?
Might be nice if this stuff was documented for new players (if that were to ever happen).

City effects town building down times.

Ah, of course. Thanks.
And how much do supply goons repair things? Can they repair both field objects and factories?
-
Field supplies reduce remaining downtime by 10 minutes for all resupplyable objects in a 1 mile radius, be it at a strat target or a field.
Hangars, manned guns and ships can not be resupplied

What a pity. Another layer of gameplay gone. :(

And is that a one time shot? If I drop a field dar it is down for 30 min, but can they drop 3 goons and repair instantly? or is it a one time 10 min reduction no matter how much supplies dropped?
And can the supplies come from the same base you just dropped on so that there isn't even travel time?

Thanks.

3 goons can up it instantly. That's why it's nice to hit the strat then pork corresponding field object. Only down side is you inherent that down time when you capture the field for everything but auto ack.

Wow. That seems kinda ridiculous to me, but whatever. Can't imagine why you wouldn't just drop eggs and bail as a bomber pilot if they could insta-repair before you could even get turned around to head back to base.
Combined with HQ nerfing, it pretty much tells bomber pilots to F-off. :rofl

They could but i never see it happen, i spend most my time in a fighter dropping ords and radar and they usually stay down the full 30 minutes.

It used to happen more than today because more players were available for resupply runs. Also, on most maps the 'new' dispersed strats are basically indefensible, so the downtimes are usually much higher than the basic 30 minutes

I think they have to come from another base.

I saw a flotilla of barges last week from a CV.

only gv supplies can come from the same base.

I found a damage chart at this page:
http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/81-tactics/bomber/1039-level-bombing-techniques
I think the values are still accurate.
Summary:
Each box of supplies takes ten minutes off the downtime of every object within a mile of the drop point.
Supplies must come from a different base. Field 10 can't resupply field 10, but it can supply any other field. Vehicle supplies do not have this restriction, they can come from anywhere.
Damage to a factory increases the downtime of the objects they supply. Damage to the radar factory increases the time the radar is down when it is destroyed.
Hangars and manned guns are down for 15 minutes, period. They are not affected by factory damage or resupply.
A vehicle can resupply or repair by picking up a box of vehicle supplies. The vehicle must be within 800 years of a supply box to pick it up.
I think that covers it. Hope this helps.

That's some very good range. :D
