Title: Logitech Keyboard-key assignments messed up
Post by: 2old2fly on October 20, 2021, 09:29:50 PM
For the past month or so, I seemed to have "lost" key assignments. So far the following keys are not mapped.

Tilde-inop, cannot expand or reduce message board
Left bracket-inop, no zoom
right bracket-is now zoom in
Reverse slash-now zoom out
Check six key is inop.

These are what I know of so far. I've reinstalled the Logitech software, tried different keyboards, reinstalled game with the same results. Any ideas to throw my way. Oh, keyboard is a G213.

Sounds like they are no longer mapped in the game settings.

Have you tried shutting down Windows by keeping the Shift button down while clicking Shutdown, then starting normally? That makes Windows start from scratch instead of using a saved list of your current potentially corrupted settings.

No, Bizman. I've never heard of this operation. Another MS secret I guess. Thanks I will give it try.

i've learned many years ago, never setup up a key on the keyboard for anything.  use buttons on joystick or throttle.  sometimes it conflicts with keyboard mapping that are coded by the game.
