Title: Hurri Potter
Post by: Greebo on December 22, 2021, 03:54:00 AM
Another skin that's for both the MA and the January FSO.

This Hurricane Mk IIB was flown by 274 Squadron RAF in the desert war in 1942/43. The lightning bolts were used as squadron ID in place of the usual RAF two-letter code.

This squadron flew ground attack sorties against the Afrika Korps supporting the Eighth Army's advance west from El Alamein. After arriving in Tunisia in early 1943 they spent much of their time on convoy protection and began receiving Spitfires to replace their Hurricanes. However they weren't fully re-equipped with them until August.

Is the underside suppose to be that "bold" and "rich"?  It sorta jumps out at me, almost seems like it is "over powering" the upper half in that 2nd shot. :headscratch:

Beautifully done.

Agree on the blue unless that's by design.   Probably a slight saturation flare.

Its the same shade of Azure Blue I've always used, but I can desaturate it some more.

Great-looking skin, Greebo.  Agree about the blue underside, however it's just one shot and it could be sun angle.  Almost seems to bend a little toward violet on this MacBook's Retina display...

Love your Hurricanes, you can almost feel the stretch of the fabric across the ribs of the rear fuselage.

Nicely done.

I agree with the Azure needing to be toned down a bit.

I've noticed that the exact same settings when used on my B and D Mustangs will look differently in the game between models.  I guess it could just be the angle as Oboe noted.

It's still beautifully done.
