Howard Hesseman was always a favorite.  I've love this scene from Billy Jack, long before WKRP in Cincinnati.

Man that sucks.  It's kind of embarrassing to admit but I related to his character and tried to emulate it as much as possible in real life .  I loved his 'don't give a diddly ' attitude, intelligence, how he soaked all the fun he could out of life, and still remain cynical and sardonic.

My Dad loved Loni Anderson.  I think  that was the only reason he watched the show at all.

I obviously have transitioned to the 'old man' level in this community when I see multiple posts saying their dad loved the same show I do.

*sigh*

60 today.

I haven't died ... yet.  :uhoh
