I played the game a ton in the 2006-2008 era and and i am returning and wanting to see if anyone is willing to spend an hour or two on some 1v1s to i can get some practice back in on the game. I feel i still have a solid understanding of the dogfighting tactics would just love to get some practice in with someone if they have some time to spare! Thanks!

I would be willing, as long as you dont mind practicing with someone in the same boat as you. I flew from 2008 to 2012, just came back a few days ago and am getting used to flying with a VR headset. I too could use some 1v1 practice, especially tracking my opponent.

Im absolutely down, ideally if you are okay doing it with doing it with voice would be great but even if not no worries!

my voice is a bit janky right now, should have a headset with a mic coming from Amazon later today. Until then, I can only talk when I dont care about the Oculus freezing for a couple seconds, so no talking while fighting lol
Give me a shout in game and I would love to meet up

I'm available to work with anyone that would like some help. Be it knocking the rust off, or how to set-up your controllers.
I'm Pacific time zone, and right now, for the next month or two I'll be in the TA most weekdays sometime between 10:30- 11:30 am pst. I can't guarantee that I'll be there everyday because real life still happens. Or you can schedule a time that works for you. You can post a request in this forum, or you can send me a PM.
:salute

I highly recommend SiK1 for training. He's very good at explaining what you might be doing wrong and solutions to correct it.
He helped me remap my controller to get better 'views' that just from the hat switch and taught me how to customize and lock my default pilot's view in the cockpit of every a/c I fly. In addition, Sik also gave me some exercises to use offline to help me learn to fly 'on the edge' better.
I also recommend getting into every dogfight possible. Monday Night Madness, typically MNM, is a good way to find a cheap fight fast. Also, the King of the Hill (KOTH) is free for all and just as good as MNM when it comes to helping you get adjusted to being shot down in flames.

If you can't find anyone, keep in mind that you can created missions with AI and fly against them.
