This is an adoption of SkyChimp's original skin.
Fw 190D-9 flown by Heinrich Baumann of 13./Jg 51 in April 1945. This aircraft was photographed at the Garz airfield in northeast Germany. It was surrendered to U.S. forces on May 6, 1945 at Flensburg Germany, near Denmark.
This aircraft's most distinct feature is the bare metal hatch for the cowl machine guns. It is possible that the cannon hatches were bare metal also, but the reference photo is unclear. I elected to leave them painted. Camouflage is RLM 81 green tint with RLM 82 brown tint. The main fuselage was painted with the green tinted RLM 76 but the engine cowling, wings, and tail were constructed elsewhere and painted with light blue RLM 76. The center section of the lower wing was unpainted. Camouflage colors were also painted on the gear doors.

Nice skin Devil, good job on the NMF effects. I like skins that show the ''make do and mend'' approach that sometimes had to be applied to aircraft maintenance.

A real stunner, Devil!
