Anytime I try to adjust head views in cockpit and save them, annoyingly when I try to move using the default key maps, the head seems to jiggle slightly but doesn't move. Almost as if it is stuck. I have checked all of my controllers and no analogue devices or axis are mapped to use any of those keybinds. What gives? It's annoying me as I can't setup the views how I'd like them.
I am not using VR. Is there something obvious I'm missing?

I recall having suffered from the same once and it was it was due to a conflict in my settings just as you described.
If nothing else helps, renaming or deleting the Settings folder will reset everything.
-
If you are using TrackIR, make sure you have TrackIR paused when you try to adjust views.
Your description is exactly what happens when you try to adjust views without pausing trackir.

No trackir in use.
it is really driving me crazy

Copy that.
Listen to Bizman's advice. He is top notch on all things tech related here. Good luck sorting it all out.

Hey Bizman, just possibly might be another issue, like I posted about in the thread wiping settings out...
Because of a recent windows update that Dale and I had to run down and troubleshoot...
Just a thought
Good luck sorting it out, Connery

Thanks for telling, TC.
Recently I've seen things that don't make sense. Nothing wrong with the hardware, yet things don't run as smoothly as they used to. No conspiracy theories here. I simply think that some coders live in an SSD bubble, totally forgetting that there's millions of people using computers older than three or five years.

ctrl + F5,
this is "tracker mode toggle" in the key mapping.
Your welcome you beautiful angry scottish studmuffin.
we won't go into how i found this post or solved it. All i know is I had the same issue once before and was annoyed with myself for not remembering it. Seems we've forgotten more about this game than what we learn't. :joystick:
