Great fights over A16 this morning, StepSis! :cheers:
That engagement was funny though, because when I heard you dive in behind me, I checked 6 only to see a Gustav-14 at 200 range right behind my Seafire. :rofl Best option I had in the moment was a hard pull up in an attempt to make you overshoot. Kind of a down and dirty Not-Quite-A-Cobra.
Well, I got away from you, but only after you knocked off both of my elevators!
Watch the film, it's hilarious. Your shot that takes off my elevators happens around 13 mins 20 sec in.
I'm still impressed I landed that Seafire on the deck, caught the wire even! Film refuses to visually sync the carrier correctly, but eh.
I love the Seafire, and I love it more when I get good fights with it! :airplane:
Nicely done, I dont think Ive ever landed without elevators before lol. Certainly not on a CV

Hell yeah! :airplane: I only ever fly Knights though lol, most honorable fighters overall according to my personal opinions. I've landed a few planes without elevators, I think last time I tried it on a fighter I totaled it, lost everything, only the cockpit survived. This was the first time I managed it on a CV, though!
I know I've landed a full formation of B-17s with no elevators or ailerons, wounded, and missing at least one engine. Stuck 'em on the gear. :airplane: Granted though, it was a B-17. That thing has been documented landing with no crew onboard. :x

Tig, here is our Seafire fight where you were kicking my butt and should've had me killed multiple times, but I got saved by a Wirble, and then Jerry at the end.

In more recent news:
I landed another Seafire, this time on a turning carrier, while I had only half my left wing. :x Caught the wire without damaging my plane! I didn't film it and man do I regret it! :furious
