Okay. what do you put on your dogs?
Me? I like a toasted bun and mustard. That's its.
However! I LOVE Chicago dogs!
If you put ketchup on a hot dog, I think you're supposed to be going to hell.
:rofl

Costco hotdogs, mustard, relish x 5
-
Grilled onion and red bell pepper on a crusty roll.
Oh, and replace the dog with an Italian sausage. :aok
-
Mustard, relish, and peppers on the side.

Mustard with mine. With a combo of Gold Star Chili, and make it 5 of them. And a side of Chili Fries, with a Oreo milkshake shake. Happy Days!
-
$1 package of hot dogs
$1 package of buns
ketchup and yellow mustard.
Yum.
-
Why is the number of hotdogs in a package never the same as the number of hotdog buns in a package?
No bun, just a slice of fresh bread with either yellow relish or honey mustard.
-
hot dogs aren't for me. brats with saurkraut is all you need.

Now you're talking. Boil the brats in beer till they float then brown them up over mesquite smoke. Never was a fan of saurkraut so I go with sweet relish and mustard on a hand made bun (ladies in the local deli will make me a special package of them if I give em a few days notice)
-
I put brats way above hot dogs.

I am so glad you asked! I prefer a Kogel Vienna on a steamed bun, ketchup (yes I know), mustard, finely minced onion. Two please!
-
Brats and kraut
-
A collar and sometimes a leash.

Those dogs natural casing? You should be flogged for the (shudder) ketchup.

Brats on a sub roll with Kimchi, English Mustard with a Sam Adam's chaser.

There is this great little place in Imperial Beach on the Southside of San Diego called Doggos Gus. Tiny little place. They make the best hotdogs ever. It was great, I could walk across the street from my hotel and go get the best hotdog for $7. I had about 10 of them on our trip.
This was my favorite:
Bacon wrapped with braised pork, grilled onions, Pico, Chipotle & Avacado Crema on top.

Hotdogs are away to sell the scraps from the slaughter houses no one would eat otherwise .. a great camo job :)
That said an occasional one is delicious ..down to one about every 6 months ... its not on any cardiologist menu :)

They're pretty much last item on any menu I could choose from. Now brat dogs? I'm all over them any time anywhere.

Nah I like to hear them bark and wrist restraints don’t seem to do any good and you’re likely to get bit.

That's not always the case. Hence the Koegel Vienna...

Those look good.
I wonder what the Vienna dogs are made of that they advertise in the Chicago Dog stands? And what kind of peppers to they use? I was never able to find what type of pepper those Vienna Chicago dogs have in them.
-
I don't really care for too much stuff piled up on my dog. If you ever get to this neck of the woods you have to try an authentic Flint Coney...

I will!
Have you ever had a real Chicago dog though? Those are great. The dog, the steamed bun, those peppers. Really good.
Mostly though, I prefer a grilled dog with the bun toasted on the upper grill and with only mustard. Or a straight chilidog with only chili on it.

Supposedly they are pickled serrano peppers in a brine. But heck... this is AmazonWorld...just order the Vienna ones.

Thank you!
I looked up "sport peppers" after seeing this. They sure are perfect for those dogs. Might as well order that one.
