Post by: Eagler on October 25, 2022, 08:47:54 AM
Just another BRICS in the wall

If SA joins it will end the petrol dollar

If you don't know what that means you might want to look it up

well no one needs oil anymore anyway. it's all magical free energy and batteries that we don't have the capacity to manufacture.

Folks in New England will soon be able to prove or disprove that

I like better the California law that precludes gasoline-powered generators.  That is great on so many levels.

All green energy ideas take a backseat if the dollar becomes worthless

It's not about new energy, pollution or climate control...it's all about power and a new set of bosses

Ukraine might be the playground where such a move is discouraged or it might be too late for the debt laden dollar..

So at this point, natural gas isn't being allowed in new construction, same with fireplaces, and now generators are being discouraged, which leaves one at the mercy of the inconsistent power grid

actually it does.  quaking only gives you so much info. it's like saying I don't like gardunos because it doesn't have pizza.

So, when was the last time you lived in the south? More than 10 years ago? You can no longer use "back when I live in NC...".

Does that make the law more stupid or less stupid?

Anyone who believes ev and solar power will remove our dependency on oil are ignorant to the point of being naive

Oil is in more things than it is not these days

To think we can flip off SA because we are building charging stations is more than stupid

Best hope the world keeps needing oil and that those oil purchases are forced to use dollars as tricky dick set it up in the 70's..

Otherwise prep for a nice long war as the dollar loses reserve currency status and we try to claw out of that depression

And now SA is talking jihad...

They have practice since 911...good times ahead

aren't most laws stupid?

but what I was referring to before.  city or county of LA are banning new gas stoves and couple of similar things, around 30 other cities also banning  them. state will take several years.

so for bj229r to say the power grid is inconsistent is not entirely accurate anymore than me saying texas power grid is inconsistent because it fail around 2020 or so.

so I hardly lose power here and it's only for a couple of minutes and not even once a year.

I think so, too.  I suspect we'd be better off if more than 50% of the body of law/regulation would be repealed.

Yes we are the largest turd in the toilet bowl but no one wants a debt laden do do..

It's the fear of our military that is holding the dollar up at this point..

But at some point a gold back currency will win out imo

The less "reliable " we are or appear to be to our "allies" the sooner the change comes

It'll be after a nice big crash and the world has had enough of our foolishness

That's all you have to be, to win.

What gold backed currency are you referring to?  Do you know of a country that still uses a gold backed currency?

It's not about any of these things!

It's all about cutting the population by at least half.

Australia goes first.

Half?  According to the Sierra Club the maximum sustainable human population is 60 mil. 60,000,000 / 7,000,000,000 = .009  (also known as a reduction of 99%)
