Title: Marine Drone Swarm
Post by: CptTrips on October 30, 2022, 12:18:58 PM
Marine drones.  First I've heard of those.

Thousand dollar drones; multi-million dollar targets.  The modern battlespace is a whole new ballgame.

Just asking...

There's no way to mass blind / jam transmissions to these things?

I'm sure we're working on this kind of stuff.  But if you haven't noticed, Russians are a bit behind the curve.

I doubt they have the tech, or certainly the chips at this point, or the planning capability, or the money, or the ability to be creative necessary to keep up.

I've see infantry with these:

I thought the one I saw could jam and take-over a drone.  I suspect they have to get pretty close.  Probably a very narrow beam.

I don't think anyone completely predicted the level of importance the drone has played in this war.  Not just the multi-million dollar gov drones, but all the amateur modified off-the-shelve drones.

Look up a company called Kratos (KTOS). I invested there for a while but the stock is a tough one to play. Cool stuff they have though.

At least one video out there with a drone dropping a grenade on a Russian soldier who pointed one of those “jammers”.

Those things require quite a bit of electricity.

At least one video out there with a drone eventually dropping a grenade in him.

The bomb being dropped right down the hatch is my fav.
