Upped 29's flew six sectors to A5.while climbing 20k+ sector 8-14 full IFR and frame rate of 2. Over target A5,A1,A33 full IFR, over A3 partial town obscured. First time ever landed 29's with bombs on board "7" what a waste of time. Other players are having problems with ICONS I can run all other maps at a constant 60 frame rate .Either fix please or post new game requirement.
I am not bad mouthing the work that when into this map.

Between 137 -33 9k P38l framerate off 2 and down to 1 frame rate jumps when in a dive :x :x :x

Aboard BB gunner position ,going to sea mode yellow site is 2 mils off! Frame rate drops to 45

Under the pm icon it says watched. What is the purpose of that?

Cane, as far as I know, the ETO map was pulled from the rotation and fixed. It was out for a couple of rotations while Hitech replaced the cloud file or something. I *think* this was supposed to fix the icon problem for people.
Not sure why you're having such frame rate problems with this map. I missed it today - hope it is still up tomorrow.

I flew the map for several hours tonight and had no issues what so ever. I did not lose icons nor did I have any frame rate issue in the clouds, and I was ducking in and out of them on a number of flights.

Usually Happens when you’re reported by team woke or team nanny and you are then given an infraction for such deplorable behavior 😫.
After some time without accruing more infractions it slowly drops off.

Click on your profile and it might tell you when you were reported and what reason you were reported for. But I would say it was the single post thread you created that was locked. You must of hurt someones feelings by saying that a marine is more important then a criminal basketball player

Welcome to the club..now you can watch your % go up or down while you get muted when you peak over 80%..
Been here for over 20 years and have just learned this in the last 18 months as things have changed in the ability to express one's self due to the extreme thinning of skin recently in the world...

Speaking of fixing, resupply of strats is way too fast with goons and m3s enabled on AA bases just a mile away. It takes less than 2 minutes to drop a box of supplies. Even a single player can fully restore a factory in 30 minutes. Two players have it back up before the bombers even have landed.
Resupplying is much more efficient than trying to stop bombers, but their attack is also mostly pointless when all damage can be restore that qucik.

It's a double-edged sword. If you make it too difficult to resupply the strats then bombing them becomes a game killer. Sure, the way it is now sucks for the bomber pilot who spends the time to fly to a strat, but it's better than pissing off 1/3 of the online population.
I know that strategic bombing raids are an iconic aspect of WWII, but as far as gameplay goes it would have been better to limit bombing to tactical targets.

Seems about right to me, since a single player can inflict the damage in about the same time. And if coordinated with other players who attack bases when the strat goes down, the total resupply time would be much longer than the time it takes to restore the strat. Such coordination might be considered, "strategic". :D
IMO resupply is the most boring aspect of the game, (and I've done plenty of it). With low numbers taking even one player out of combat diminishes the game experience for everyone, IMO. If there is any role for AI, it is resupply.

Would love to see trains along with truck, ship and c-47 convoys. Give new guys something they can go after instead of being fodder constantly.

Not to mention it woulg give the new guys targets they can kill with minimal experience...2 week trial for one
No one sticks around because no one wants to pay $15 a month to repeatedly get killed by those of us who have decades of experience in this game

I shot up a truck convoy in ETOMA last night. Follow the brown dirt roads leading away from each enemy field and you should see a truck convoy of 6-8 vehicles. They drive super fast, and are small, difficult targets to strafe. Also I learned, if the field these trucks are supplying has not been damaged in any way, destroying the trucks will have no affect. I suppose if there was an item down at the field, destroying the convoy would result in a slightly longer rebuild time...

Great map, but me and the rest of the guys I flew with last night all had similar problems with icons going out, particularly when passing through a cloud. I mean, it didn't make us any less deadly of course ;) just friend or foe recognition got a little interesting at times.

We have sent some film to Hitech, hopefully he'll figure what is wrong and correct it fairly soon.

I found a train tonight, and it was glorious! Look for tracks running to strat targets, except the City.

WE are on the Fjord map today and the clouds are no problem could we please use the same program on the ETO map? :banana: :banana: :banana:

Makes the game far less playable for bomber pilots. I ditched and logged off NorthCo for same reason.

yea, someone said they flew through clouds at 21k and lost icons. Makes sense as I've been topping out at 15k and it has been cons above me each time that had no icons.

I know I've talked to JimmyD3 about this, and he had determined it was caused by a type of cloud layer that was above its rated altitude, or something like that. IIRC, he has fixed the map and resubmitted, so I think its just up to Hitech to recompile/rebuild the map - though that may be more work than it sounds like it is. He also may need a reminder?
My advice is to exploit the heck out of this feature while you can. It's been solved and will be going away at some point and probably will be missed by a few! :bolt:
