I was 13 when this series started. I remember wanting a leather flight jacket SO bad..  :D

And no brain dead commercials!

Anyone know of a series that would cover BOB like baba black sheep did the Pacific?

A series about the brit and us pilots including a look from the luftwaffe pov would be fantastic if kept half-way believable imo

I'm on 14. Learned you don't want to be a co-pilot. They get it quite a bit. I have only watched one that didn't have a "love interest"

Have you tried "Piece of Cake"?  Six part series ..

It came out just as I was into AirWarrior on PBS here in the states back in 1990-91ish.  It ran every Sunday on Masterpiece theater for 6 weeks. 

You will love it, I almost didn't post just figured everyone had heard about it... but it has been 30ish years.  No CGI..

Seems they only wear their oxygen masks so they can take them off to have a smoke, and boy do they smoke.  :O
