how they look upon a broken world
how they play and laugh and dance
how they hold an old man's hand

There is something about a little girl.
modeling for their little world.
putting on a pretty dress
to prance priss and pirouette

There is something about a little girl.
how she'll make you view the rest of your world.
she will make you smile and warm your heart
when she gives you a hug and whispers so soft
I love you, Papa.

And any Papa will shed a tear.
because Papas know all too clear
that pretty soon, one of these years
his little girl will disappear.

As she sprouts and grows and spreads her wings
a woman will bloom into her spring.
and the little girl will be no more.
and onto her life she will explore
and for the rest of my life, I will adore.
because there is just something about a little girl.

Post by: Molsman on April 24, 2023, 12:41:29 AM: Dam Shuffler you’re :old: I am working on My first Grandaughter not even 8 months old yet and already had Covid and been in the hospital 3 times after that for breathing issue’s she is my pride n joy and GranPa loves her even though she was in the hospital for my 49th trip around the world she gave me the best birthday gift ever a full crappy diaper and I said hey Dad you’re Daughter needs a change….. Ah the life pass the dirty work to others
