I may have to edit 1 song out of the credits. I'm doing a test run to see who can actually see it.
It's only posted here until it passes the test.

That looks great!
Anyway to state it has been around for over 23 years and still considered by many to be the best ww2 a2a sim going?
Thanks for your dedication to this project!

It's in the movie intro, 2nd graphic before it starts

Sorry I had skipped over that frame to get to the action
Not sure if the scene at the end with the pilot dancing in the cockpit with his arms going outside of the canopy is a positive look imo
Thanks again for your time and energy putting this together in the name of trying to increase exposure and subscribers!

I hope it's not disappointing that tries to find a balance between dog fighting kills and graphics/terrain.
I apologize for any contributed footage I didn't use,... it's not all the best shots I have, it's the ones that fit the music,...a lot of great stuff is on the editing floor,.... but will come to use later.

Everything is editable. But I'll only do it once. We'll see other comments. I know a lot of time used on closeup shots. As opposed to just kill shots I tried to give it direction and flow. We'll see...... and YW,.. it was fun doing at times,...a few moments of frustration,.. lost project files and had to rebuild it twice. As when one person does things like this over a team it can tend to go in one direction. I have no problems with the community critiquing it, and deciding to edit. But if it's just intended to be all kill shots,... there' 1000s of those great vids out there. I wanted it to be different,.. just not too different.:)

Little long but it’s great! Thanks for using some of my footage.

I enjoyed it start to finish, nicely done :aok

Nice work!

Great job buddy. Enjoyed it. :aok
Cheers, One-eye

totally cool! great job!! <S>

Very nice! :rock

Very nice work Animl! I love seeing myself in a movie as much as the next guy, but there were a ton of gorgeous shots.
It does look like you credited me for an F4U-1D film, I don't recall submitting any. You sure that was me? Or did someone post a film of shooting down my Corsair? :rofl
Although I do recall some tight port defense fighting between Corsairs and Seafires...

Nice job! Wtg on putting it all together. :aok
From a movie standpoint, I'd say to put the films of Inside the cockpit before the chase view parts between 6:30 - 10:30. It's the same song still. I don't really understand the first chase film at 6:30 with no music. I feel a better film could take that spot, it looks like a spit trailing a P38 but nothing really happens. It also looks like you can play the game in chase view, which is not so. To me, I'd limit some of those chase views, or put them in cockpit view, or chose different angles from the chase view. Chase view comes off sorta gamey. For some of the shooting scenes, it could switch to the gun film mode or something like that, for example the bombers shooting down the plane you are chasing at 9:13 being shot by the bombers. I do like some of the other angle shots you have though and think those are solid. Not so sure about the lanc crash landing on the CV haha, but I get it with the music. It just seems goofy though relative to the seriousness of the beginning and kinda takes away from the "realness" factor.
Hey, just my thoughts. Think it's a fun film with some cool shots for sure and I do like the music. Definitely more than I am capable of :aok

I would shave your title cards time in half. 30 seconds to see action is a bit long. You can always mix them in throughout.

It's referred to as cinematic film. A cross between a movie and the game. There are interior shots. :)
It's all good. It's going to be edited. That first shot was a fluke, it's not the same shot I lost, and I got burned out on cutting a new one. It's kind rough to keep up with a furball in a fixed camera position,... everything comes and goes very quickly. It may just go by-bye. I wanted a quite scene giving the next thumping scene more impact, but the more I watch the more I agree.
As far as I know, and I am newish AGAIN, in film viewer I don't know how to jump to other planes, I seem to be limited to the host plane. To be honest I couldn't find anyone who would do those shots with me when I had my own free time. T
he AH viewer can be a PITA, have a perfect scene setup and hit play and it changes, or hit stop and it's gone, start over 100 times. Pause is the workaround to not losing a setting. I try to use as little of it as possible. Until I find out something I thought I couldn't do, I use Bandicam to just copy the screen.
The video is going to get trimmed down. The core will stay the same, but the start and end will change. Plus it needs to be uploaded as 4k, it's currently at SD. There is a few tricks I'm going to try to bypass YT compression when I upload the finished version.
Thanks for the helpful comments. Always best to have more then one set of eyes. :)

Thanks.
The scene you refer to is from a port scene filmed by the opposing plane, which should be the Seafire listed. I collect credits from the film viewer text buffer and pilot read-out and it gives me the AC you flew. It's a very accurate source. You're both in the scene, win or lose, so it applies. It's the opening battle scene shot.

While I agree, and already planned on doing that for other reasons as well,..can't look at it as a flash ad, it is a movie, it should look taste and feel like one. But ya, I'm going to do that. 1 graphic for 10-15 seconds. I MAY lose the entire ending,.... it was cool and funny, it will be edited or remove.
It's going to be tightened up and reloaded. Comments are helpful.

I feel you Animl, this is quite the project! Not sure I'd have the patience for that kind of editing haha.
"I don't know how to jump to other planes". In film viewer, you simply double click on the other players around you in the box on the right. Unfortunately it does not record their saved views though. So you will be in their cockpit, but if you have views selected, will be your saved views looking around, not theirs, which can be confusing.

I took a quick look today, it looked fun. I went back to check it out at home when I have more time, and I find that you have taken it down. You might want to edit the original post, please.

Yep, I have 240GB of unused content, and ended up with a 720MB HD movie. That's how things go in real productions too. The fact that I set it all to music is when it gets more complicated. I'm just using standard low budget tools like a lot of people. I could borrow some video switchers and faders, but YT will ruin it anyway.
Maybe the 25th Anniversary coming up is a good time to have a lot of player cameras rolling in a scenario and do all aspects of one event. Which would be much easier, and more time to pop the cork off the bottle in production.
Uploading edited version now.

I think the modify option times-out. The edited version is uploading now, it will have a new link that I'll share, either here or in a official release post, this was just a test to get feedback and apply it.

Sorry Tig, it was that last second port save with me in a Seafire against two of you in Corsairs, looks like he only used the first kill as we were ruddering around each other at close range.
