Actually yes, just the other night.  Same wing as in the photo, I think it needs to be the right wing so the engine torque can contribute to the missing lift?

I remember an FSO when I nursed a zero back to base and landed it with one wing  :rofl  Probably wouldn't have believed it had I not reviewed the film the next morning because I was a little, uh, 'medicated' when I was 'flying'.

I have landed a p47 and many 190/“s with a half wing it is all about rudder control and what flaps you have left to land that hurt plane many times do t drop the landing gears that will help you land safely also

I have landed a P-38J with one wing, one engine, one rudder, and with none of the other..... with differing results.  :D

Little off topic but I just landed a 47 with no elevator yesterday, it unlocks an achievement. I’ve landed before in a 47 with half a wing

If we have to leave our 38 in enemy territory, all Headhunters remove their blenders for security reasons.

Stuck flap and adjust the blender so that it helps right the aircraft. Having Tequila, limeaide, Triple-sec, and ice in the blender is a plus. Helps calm the nerves.
