Historical footage and expert commentary give detailed insights into the leading figures and decisive turning points of WWII.

On netflix. The best doc I've seen. The North Atlantic, Africa, Italy, the Pacific. The French resistance, Russia. Multiple epsodes.
The politics, the Generals and country leaders. And films not stock films. The majority I have never seen.

A huge amount of information presented. Its not boring, it is a page turner.

Was this the series that was on the History Channel 10-15 years ago?
