Title: Cropduster vs Semi Truck
Post by: BOBO on July 29, 2023, 10:37:46 AM
This video was taken about 30 miles from where I live.  Last week a pilot flying what appeared to be a identical plane made my coworkers and I very nervous because every couple of minutes it was flying very close to my cooling tower which is full of anhydrous ammonia.

Wow!!! Looks like he barely missed it luckily. I bet that truck driver about had a heartattack. Seems like the pilot should be reprimanded for sure!

I'm sure the FAA would be interested in that clip. The pilot is a dumb a**.

Crappy part is if he hit the truck, the driver may get fired for it due to him being the operator of the truck that was involved in a preventable vehicle incident. Some stupid company policy would say he was at fault because if he was driving too fast or slow, he wouldnt of been in that exact location when the plane flew into the lane of traffic. Therefore, he is at fault and fired for it.

And yes, big company corporate will pull that toejam
