I have been having this issue with my computer when using Edge and browsing pages on Ebay which is something I do many times during the day. It seems to me that this problem of CONSTANTLY opening a new browser page is only with Edge. So has anyone of you guys ever had this issue with their PC and using internet?
Thanks.

Might be a setting in edge to open any link in a new window!

Finding that setting may be a mission impossible based on https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftedge/forum/all/how-do-i-set-edge-to-open-links-in-a-new-tab/5d73f4fb-986c-431b-b441-879f98a0fad0 (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftedge/forum/all/how-do-i-set-edge-to-open-links-in-a-new-tab/5d73f4fb-986c-431b-b441-879f98a0fad0)

I stopped using edge years ago. Its painfully slow compared to other browsers and full of microshaft garbage. Chrome and firefox are millions times faster

Don't use Edge. Problem solved.
Right now I'm using Chrome, but have been using Brave https://brave.com/ more.

I use Edge with google as a search engine and don't have this issue, I was reading that it could be bing search if you are using that as a search engine.

Maybe this is just my problem but I cannot find the open link in same page part of Edge... You guys can talk all the tough guy junk about Edbe you want... i'm sorry and do like and enjoy using edge. I won't be worried or waiting for my computer or even further my house to be taken by some no one who says and loves to use Yahoo... My desktop will not be taken by some Russian Comunist because I use and aprove of Edge. :bolt:
