Title: Help with recording

Can anyone out there record the sound of the paratroopers jumping out of the C47s in the movie "A Bridge Too Far" or tell me how to do it? I have the movie on DVD and I have a sound recording program but I can't figure out how to record the sounds from the DVD. Thanks.
