Title: P-40N "Mary Lou"

P-40N flown by Lt. David Winternitz of the 8th Fighter Squadron, 49th Fighter Group in early 1944. Winternitz scored the 399th victory for the 49th FG in this plane on Feb. 14, 1944 and this skin represents how she looked when she was photographed shortly after. There are no fewer than 4 variations to this aircraft in various reference photos.
