Thank you to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin, which was a request from Trav02.

This B-24J "Chief Jo-Jon" was part of the 465th Bomb Group's 781st Bomb Squadron who were based in Italy in 1944. In an act of bravado a large target was painted across the left hand canopy where the pilot sat with the words "Come and get me you ba**ards" printed in English and German below.

On 18th December 1944 while nearing its target of an oil refinery in Southern Germany "Chief Jo Jon" developed engine trouble. The pilot 1st Lt. Donald Clodfelter decided to dump his bombs and make for the nearest friendly territory, which was Soviet-held Eastern Hungary. After reaching this and bailing out of their stricken aircraft the crew were picked up by the Red Army and shortly after returned safely to Italy.

This is awesome, Greebo. I know that mapping on the cockpit had to be a pain!!!  :x :x
