From some Win11 nerd site:
if you're using Windows 11, you can click the View button in File Explorer and choose a setting according to your requirements. Then click the three-dots menu and select Options from the drop-down. Step 4: In the Folder Options dialog, select the View tab. And then click the Apply to Folders button.

Thanks!
Tried looking and ended up finding this same answer on a Microsoft site blog. I'm either doing it the wrong way or what the hell! LOL I remember and miss just right-clicking on the folder inside and PRESTO everything would be fine!
Do you have anything else?

How about this?

"Enable Windows 11 thumbnails. Open File Explorer, select the three-dot menu at the top of the window, then go to Options > View, and make sure Always show icons, never thumbnails is deselected. Having this option enabled will turn off thumbnails and replace them with generic file type icons."
