Title: x52 cutting throttle stops engine

i have a X52 joystick hotas. when i cut throttle quickly the engine turns off sometimes. i can restart engine with 'E' key, but having engine stop in middle of dogfight is not optimal. i've tried to find a setting to change and can not figure out why this happens. tried increasing dampening on the throttle axis, but that didn't make a difference. Anyone know how i can fix this, so i can cut throttle without engine turning off sometimes? thanks for any help

Check the mapping of your throttle. Make sure nothing is set to "E". you may be bumping a switch that is mapped to "E", as well as some axis can be mapped to actuate key presses instead of analog devices

checked my controller mapping again(more carefully) and did find a button way near bottom set to engine. changed it to none. will see if that helps when i can fly later. thanks
