Just a random clip using ctrl-F9 Nvidia screen recording. Nothing special about the clip. Just wanted to see if it works for everyone and that the quality is okay.
https://youtu.be/b3M4JmLwGJM?si=SG9Sz4VXiexQ-8iF
If it works out I'll try to get in the habit of recording and post if anything interesting happens.
<S>
Edit: Not sure if it's the case for everyone or something in my settings but it defaulted to 480p. I had to manually select 1440p.

Looks cool Simon!
Thanks for posting this

Viewing on my phone. Looks very smooth. Good job

Looks great on my end.
:aok

Cool man! Quick question, your settings at 480p were thru Nvidia or youtube? I'm trying to get mine to be more clear on youtube.
-
Thanks gents. It was actually way easier than I figured.
@Violator, it was just on YT playback when I watched it on my PC. It was showing auto/480p. Not sure why since most videos should default to the best available.
I didn't touch any settings in Nvidia, YT or otherwise. It just worked quick and easy.
-
At 1440 you’re hitting the 4k codec on YT. Thats where you wanna be.

Looks good to me, SUBSCRIBED

Keep em' coming, looks good. The more the merrier, I've been putting some up on Rumble(the Uncensored choice).

So do you record in AH, and then use f9 Nvidia while in the film viewer?
Really curious how do do this. I have some films that are worth the time trying to post.
I have a youtube acct.. that's got to be step 1.

Not answering for him, but yes, that's how to do it. I just use Bandicam, because I can tweak it to my liking and codec.

I'll be damned. This whole time I thought it was my settings, when it was just the video quality not turned to 1440 on the playback. :rofl

Actually it was just realtime in the game. I did also try doing one using film viewer but the colours were all weird on the captured video even though it looked fine in film viewer. Not sure yet what that's all about.
So yeah I just hit alt-f9 while I was flying then dragged the video into YouTube and voila.

The film viewer is not a stand alone app, it's actually part of the game. Basically just a window of the game reading recorded data.
Pretty sure the game is 8-bit.
32-bit full color could do that
32-bit floating point would not.
The color conversion could cause that.
MAYBE, check your Nvidia settings. I never really used it so kinda ignorant what settings they offer.
I only saw that when I used 32-bit full color in Bandicam to capture films.

Cool, glad ya found a fix.

I posted a couple more short captures from the MA yesterday evening:

I downloaded Bandicut so I can edit out the boring bits in future, so hopefully they'll get a bit more entertaining once I get the hang of things.

Looks like things are moving pretty smooth for you.
As for sound, even after a AH film is recorded you can still change the audio mix for your vids inside the game on clipboard. Example, the film has voice, but if not using it in vids you can disable in the game while you do your screen captures. Lots of variables once you have the basics. AT some point you'll probably want to upgrade you apps to use something like Windows Movie Maker which is free, you can easily add music etc.. in that. It has some limitations, one being ya can't change the codec. If ya get growing pains you'd probably move up to something LIKE Vegas Pro, which is pretty much only limited by your imagination.
