Title of this post exactly tells you what I'd like to know and I can't clarify on if the F-14 is or is not coming back?
Here's a few vids I've found on Yourube on this...

The F14, all versions are completely out classed by what the US uses now. The only F14s still flying are in small countries that dont build their own planes, but buy used planes from other countries.

Only way the F14 becomes better then current aircraft is if tom cruise or chuck norris pilots it

I still like the idea of dumping 6 phoenix at 100 miles range and then running away at 1,500mph.

i was on last F14 cruise before they were phased out. VF142 and VF143 back in 1996 i think. Awesome plane, maintenance nightmare.

I remember watching you guys carrying the AWG9 transmitters down the ships ladders and thinking how glad I was that I was in an S3 squadron.
Being an AT the nightmare bird for us was the EA6B. Nobody want to be assigned to one of those squadrons.

The F22 is similar to the F14 when it comes to maintenance. I don't even want to think about the B21 just glad I don't have to troubleshoot it. It's a true fair-weather plane.
