Title: Forming squad to hunt Skyyer and his wingmen
Post by: hazmatt on April 16, 2024, 12:12:46 PM
Still working out the details here.

Must have at least 10/1 K/D.
Must be an accomplished HOer winning at least 70% of HOs.
Must know how to exploit the flight model to win at least 70% of rams.
Must be able to fly at least 40 hours a week.
Must have applicable AH tweak spreadsheet mods to  set plane weight to 0 even with full fuel load and other variables as required.
Must have an ego the size of a bus.
Must have a book of excuses as to why they lost to defend squads honor. (at least 50 different excuses)

I'll post some more when I think of them. (probably when I'm taking a dump)
Please feel free to make suggestions.

Think of it as a country club membership, only $8,000 a year and a $5,000 application fee.

Still a bunch cheaper then: https://www.thedallascc.org/

Must have at least 10/1 K/D.
- Mine is 11 or 12 (if you move the decimal)

Must be an accomplished HOer winning at least 70% of HOs.
- Honestly, I’ll have to work on this one as I’ve spent 20 years trying to avoid them. But manage to at about a 70% or greater rate.

Must know how to exploit the flight model to win at least 70% of rams.
- This is super easy. You simply select a Yak3 for all sorties.

Must be able to fly at least 40 hours a week.
- Does past experience count?

Must have applicable AH tweak spreadsheet mods to  set plane weight to 0 even with full fuel load and other variables as required.
- I’m sure I can outsource this for $3. Right?

Must have an ego the size of a bus.
- Yep. (If a Hot wheels VW bus counts)

Must have a book of excuses as to why they lost to defend squads honor. (at least 50 different excuses)
- Again, I’m short here but I can say “poof” on 200 every time one of them dies if that works?

Meh!
Skyyr is a good pilot. However how he acquires a lot of kills is questionable. Like HOs and stealing kills from a 1-1 fights.

That said, if he didn’t draw so much attention to himself he’d just look like 60% of the players, and 70% of  those who rank high in points. Not really much different than many.

The point system is good for goals and achievements, as long as everyone ays on the same page of honor. They don’t.

HOW players acquire high points tells the bigger story.  Rampant HOs, picking, and kill stealing if already damaged planes. Skyyr did that to me during a 5-10 min fight with Lefty. But many do that. Picked me during a 5-10 fight with someone else, after circling above by 3k advantage during both whole fights.

A great deal of players play like Skyyr, he just puts a spotlight on it. Few are innocent. HOs are rampant across the board, more so from rooks. He’s not new nor special. Skyyr is vulnerable from the 6, like most.

Many play long hours. I used to play 6-12 hrs per day, good reason I hit #1 in AW. I’m lucky to get 6-8 hours in per week now.

People tell me to just ignore the trolls, I flip the table. Don’t give it so much attention.

Almost all of my kills are solo or 1v1. My assists are almost always around 10% (meaning 90% of the time, I'm the player doing almost all the damage). That can't happen if you're constantly shooting planes that others are shooting at too. And if someone's winning 80%+ of their HOs, then they're probably not HOs.

I'm usually alone. You don't get 2k+ kills a month by fighting others for them. This is what a normal sortie looks like for me.

Man, I could not watch it all the way through. I'd hear the rumors about Skyyer but now I've seen proof that he is a tree huggin, tator launchin, deflecting shooting, flap abusing, comms using pile-it! You should be ashamed!

Look, we all have priorities, most of us have experienced much worse in our personal lives, we all still make it to work for a paycheck. I'm hearing bad excuses and slow walking play on words....like "hope to be". Nonsense. It's binary, you either are or not.

By letting former player skimmers in it's a sign to me he wants us to leave, he doesn't need our 15$.

Money for nothing.

We many need to close the recruitment early due to the overwhelming number of applications we have received!

I haven’t yet seen someone not turn around when I say their user name in line at a store.

I always talk as if someone is standing in front of me in person because some will make sure to force that meeting.
People are so much easier to track down now more than ever before so don’t cry when you meet someone you’ll wish you hadn’t.
I’m not looking over my shoulder when i’m vacuuming my pool but i haven’t said things online that might bring “chance meetings”.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this video shows your squad on both sides of the engagement here. Communicating with each other to say which ones you are so they know not to kill each other.

Is that what we are seeing?

I guess what is confusing to me is who would be butthurt enough based on this post to consider anything?

Skyyer posted here and didn't appear to be butthurt to me. Are there others who would do something to defend Skyyer who doesn't appear to be offended?

Guess I just don't get it. Maybe you need the fat crayons and the Big Chief tablet.

We need a squad of virtual MPs to beat some sense and manners to the heads of certain individuals. There are such hatred and keyboard vomits in here and at game, that in some other platform, permabans would be declared to several clowns.

Almost ready to go operational. Only a couple things left to do.

1: We need a squadron patch. Maybe something like Skyyer and a ghostbuster type circle with a line through it?
2: Need somebody to covertly join Skkyers squad and discord to follow him around while appearing to be innocently doing something else.
3: We need a really ominous sounding squad name.

Please feel free to add anything I forgot.

I don't smoke but cool box for beer and snaps glasses for brady might be needed.

I was defending field today and watching from 37mm how Alter Ego III was picking easy kills by vulching every TO attempt. I don't deny his skills but that's bit cheap. Anyway, if I ever participate similar act, I might do the same.

Another thing I pointed out with several members of that horde, were the movements of kites. Sudden jumps up, down, left, right. Not all of them but some.

The reason everyone was vulching is because we literally shot everyone down. That's how that works. Spoils of war.

Don't want to get vulched? Don't die and then be dumb enough to re-up from the field that got capped by the guys you lost to.

Ironically, I watched you 2v1 some poor random dude stuck by himself, so I don't understand the fake outrage at vulches.

You have very weird definition for outrage. I wrote that in similar situation I'd probably do the same. Is that raving, really? Man, are you really that sensitive?

And yes, that's why I stayed in ack after rtb during your first wave, not to get vulched. Tried to help those who still attempted to get airborne. Before it I downed one of you in a fair 1-1 dogfight (C205-109) and got assistance in another, before had to land w/ low ammo, bingo fuel and oiling engine. And did we really loose? We kept the base.

So, I'm bragging and banging my chest by mentioning, that despite several waves of attacks, we, the knits, managed to keep the base? Not me. There's slight difference. Successful team work. Not one individuals Tarzan bundolo, what this forum is full nowadays.

But okay, let's say this is once again a post where I'm a rooster at the highest dunghill, screaming my own excellency like no other in here. That's what I do whole the day, posting videos showing more kills per flight than ammo in my kite and telling others how they suck, how I beat them while sipping my coffee and reading news and the others must learn to fly.

Somebody seems to take game so seriously, he has to post a film after film to prove he did not die, that he killed, that he is the best, that nobody killed him, that he has more points, that his kills are indisputable etc. That he is the loudest rooster on a highest dunghill.

Sounds like a perfect candidate for final thesis of a student of psychiatric medicine.

Or maybe watching people spazz and make 10+ threads about someone because of a few files and keyboard strokes is hugely entertaining.

P40s at dawn !  :airplane:

Also, Ho's are easy to avoid so I wouldn't hold that against Skydude. Grizz was just as good and I don't remember such a fuss....heck Grizz landed 100! I sincerely believe if someone cheats it should be proven BEFORE being called out in public. Hey, someone has to be the best, (shrugs) why not him? I've seen him catch a ton of crap on 200 that he never started. What's wrong with squelching him and moving along? Get your egos out of the way and quit feeding him. Are there no authorities to review films or respond to reports anymore? C'mon man this is silly.....Skuzzy would of locked this up before it even started.
