Title: Anyone Wanna Identify This Plane
Post by: Banshee7 on April 26, 2024, 11:37:35 AM
Bonus points if anyone can find this planes story.

This is my great, great uncle.  The only family member I had to serve during WW2 that actually got deployed.  From what I have heard he was a Tech 5.

Only plane I know having that kind of antenna wire hump at the top of rudder and Werknummer written often to that spot were FW 190s from A4 to A8, F8 and D. Also visible lines of that panel are matching.

It's a Dornier built 190F-8. It "might" have been captured at Frankfurt Rhein.
