Title: Masters of the Air Scenario Video/Movie

This video is unlisted and currently only available the bbs.
It's a LONG video that's produced more like a movie. 16:50 long
Even though only 2 film contributors, I have 25-30 hours of footage to go through. I decided on scene's of the summer terrain.
It's based on a movie and 100th bomber group. Natural pilot dialog guided the way of scenes.
I'm confident I may make at least one tweak if it's pointed out.
I could spend another 2 weeks on it, replacing scenes, but work is picking up and free time is fading. If I don't cut it loose now, it will take several weeks to finish. So it is what it is.

I stopped at the point where the G-14's had the awful defult skin and not the skins we actually used.

Ya, I noticed in several instances. Not much I can do about that. I only had 2 other film contributors. I was on Allies side. Not all 17s had proper skins. Was kinda bummed about that myself. I used what I had. I was hoping when we started everyone would be properly suited up,... across the board many were not. <shrug> I really needed that to happen to make it authentic looking. I know in 4th Ftr Grp, we all tried to make sure we did.

Cool stuff, a lot of the B17 footage made me feel like I was back watching the mini series.

I wonder if it is on my part, if I didn't have the skin. What skin was it suppose to be? I can replace those scenes. I'd just have to find and remake those shots.
I don't have time to look, let me know what it was suppose to be and I'll see if I can fix that, I want authenticity.

We used "6./Jg 27" and "8./Jg 27" on the G-14 and "6./Jg 27" and "12./Jg 27" on the K-4.
The Dora squad used many skins in their group. Mostly Jg 54, but also Jg 11 and Jg 51.
Just grab them all, the files are small. :aok
I'll check to see if the A-8's used any custom skins. Dantoo's squad usually uses the defaults.

I just can't remake every scene. But I'll remake the obvious. It will take some time to find and remake those scenes again, as I'm back to work. but it certainly can be done. For whatever reason I just never thought about not having the right skins and getting default. One of those things. I wasn't paying attention to skins when I was focused on shots. I really didn't know what I was suppose to see.
Basically, I'll be changing the G-14s and K-4 scenes.
Kinda why I posted unlisted, I knew there just had to be something I missed.

Just FYI, the bigger the screen the more full range the speakers or headphones, the better. I tried to find a honey spot on the mix between my iphone, speakers or headphones. I just couldn’t sacrifice quality for phone or pad sneakers.
I just DLed every skin available, going to confirm here I got em right, then remake the 109/190 scenes. Plus I noticed a few graphic errors that I Musts bumped something before the render, those will be fixed too.
If anyone sees something we missed feel free to speak up. I posted it unlisted for that very reason.
Every video before this was me experimenting and getting into the flow and technical aspect of making videos. Drove cam guys snd video guys at work. Some may have sunk in. Thought it was kewl, told me to stay in audio (nudging me)
The more footage i have from other pilots the better they will be. This vid only had 3 of us, HOWEVER, 25-30 hrs of footage to dig through. Its a fun hobby for me in down-time.
Looking forward to rendering the winter terrain part of the MotA scenario. All footage is welcome.

I DLed all the skins. These are what shows up in film viewer now when I run my films.
Please verify they are the right ones loaded.
They won't be global in the edit, but there are no other close-ups.

The 109s are correct, I would not worry about the A8s as I believe the squad used the mission editor most of the time so they launched with default.

As you know working on maps and skins, pretty much anything too long, the easy stuff starts getting missed, at least for me. Why I posted it unlisted for proofreading. And I make english teachers cry.
I think authentic voice transmissions in the heat of the moment really add depth. Hard to get actors to act that natural, better yet the authentic script lingo. Golden. Ya can’t beat the natural flow.
I spent last night adding 32 compressors to the audio scenes. Seemed a little erratic and annoying to the ear after a while.

I’ll check them out. Hard to add scenes at this point, but I’ll see if there’s a place to fit them in.
17 min is getting long, it makes some crazy. However, in for a dime in for a dollar.
I’m only going to do one round of edit on this one.
I’ll be looking for winter terrain frame footage in time.
Ideally, I wanted one film from each group. Missing 47s in this. Not much interest I guess.

I have hours and hours of film from MoTA I meant to send to you and got completely side tracked and forgot so I apologize for that.
Like I said, I’ll prolly do a winter version. They would be welcome.

It can’t be remade nor edited until I get AH to run again after reinstall. Zero help so zero edit. Pretty fed up with the flaming hoops. My interest is plummeting.

Thanks GE There were some great visuals in this scenario, couldn't capture them all. I'm almost done with the finished product, another 1-3 days, I think. Before work sucks the life out of me for 4 months.
