Title: Turtle Beach Yoke
Post by: LCADolby on May 19, 2024, 12:20:07 PM
I have one of these TB Velocity One Yokes, mainly for flying big ol'sky-busses on Microsoft Flight Sim, My question is;

Is there anyone out there in AH3 who uses a Yoke to fly, and if there is;
what is the experience like, how's the transition from stick?
is fine for fighters, which ones?
are you stuck in big ugly fat fellows?
what advise have you got?

I can't see why it would make a difference - other than adapting to it. Remember the P38 was equipped with a wheel.

Except for adjusting to it, I fail to see why it would matter. Recall the P38 had a wheel.

The only issue I could see is the throw dynamics. They may be scaled back in a wheel of that type. Where it may take tenth of a second to go from full left to full right in the roll axis with a stick it may take longer with the wheel. It might just be made that way due to gearing . I dont knowbut that is what I feel would be the case. The wheel is designed for an airliner, not a fighter.
