Title: 49 IAP I-16

Thanks to Lyric1 for finding the unit for this skin, which was a request from Devil for next month's FSO.

This I-16 was found abandoned and intact by the advancing German Army when it overran Dvinsk airfield in Latvia at the beginning of Operation Barbarossa in 1941. Most likely it was formerly an aircraft of 49 IAP.

Interesting choice to not have stars on the upper wings. I thought they were on all the early light green schemes.

I can add the stars easily enough if you'd like, the photo doesn't show that area so you could be right.

I definitely think it will look better with the stars. I just wasn't sure if you had other reference.
