She lost it the same way Ozzie wife and 3/4 of Hollywood has..though she has outright lied and said it wasn't..
Not my cup of tea..thus my 1st comment

Well, unknowingly, i posted this because its probably my last concert. I wish I was ending it and retiring with something more along the lines of my own taste.
You don't know if she lied. These people can afford expensive trainers. Like all people, can you keep it off.
That said, if one only works for bands they like they will live broke. Did I really want to be Aretha Franklins engineer for two years? No. She pursued me, I doubled all my expenses and pay and she said ok. It just looked looks good on the resume. I don’t buy her music.
If you look at my list of clientele, about only 40% are bands I got into. Just pay me my money.
I’d rather ended it with the band and friends worked the most for in my early days. Marshall Tucker Band or Kansas. Neither are popping anymore. :( we all got old.
It is what it is. I doubt I’ll take on anymore in the last 6 mos at that level. I’m seriously burned out and my ears are cooked. <shrug>

One of the worst rooms to do concerts for 16k people on top of it. It's a conversion entertainment thing. (gag) Flat seating and echo chambers walls, presents a massive challenge. Nothing great about my last show.

Ha, depends how ya squint your eyes. But ya, not for the meek. It has a natural weeding process. 1st 5 yrs - I don’t care who it is, this is badas*, I’d do this for free. 15 yrs - this is fun but I need more sleep and money 20 yrs - I gotta work for who? Pay me more money. I don’t get on crew buses, fly me in or nothing, I want a limo to and from airport. 30 yrs - you move this crap, don’t F with me, give me more money, Crew doesn’t do interviews. I’m working for someone bigger than you tomorrow. 40 yrs - I shoulda stayed in construction, just pay me my Fing money. Sure you can do a full oage article in Chicago Tribune, yes you can put it in a book, your editing dept sucks. 45 yrs - I don’t care who you think you are, just pay me my Money, someone else can do this. You mean nothing to me, Keep your money. Get away from me.
Last week 6a-12a, I live 35 miles from Chitcago, got 1-2 hrs of sleep per day. Money that could choke a horse. I’m outta here, lose my ph#. This is ridiculous.
It was fun until it wasn’t. Like any job. Lots of good war stories.
I don’t even own a stereo, I never want to see another concert again.
I took this job during an 80s recession when there was no work elsewhere. I started at $50 per day, ended at 1,200 per day.
Its certainly not for everyone. Its a life, soul, and family sucking biz, but great money. Glad its almost over. The only fun is my 2 hrs on stage during show with the band and friends I made.
