I don't want to sound delusional, but I personally feel FSO has gone down hill after Nefari left, and I feel it is not as fun as it use to be.

Could you elaborate where downhill is and what do you feel is missing?

What went downhill from last night SNO was finding out that after we got slaughtered by the enemy and then no one knew if you could re-up like the last 2 FSOs I felt like it went back to the original setup, and also there was no specific if you could re-up or not. That's why I feel the rules need to specify if you can re-up or have to wait until the 2nd hour.

Thanks for the clarification LNG, I know Alpo put out that fields were closed until hour 2 but you may have not seen that. Not sure if it was in the arena message as well  :salute

The objectives clearly stated that there was an Hour 2 objective.

Furthermore, every FSO over at least the last 2 years has allowed for new planes in Hour 2. It's pretty much been the standard since 2019, with only a few designs not having an Hour 2 element.

I know about the Hour 2 Devil, but I thought it was like Operation Bodenplate where you could re-up in the first hour. That's what I was meaning.

When I was in the air, and we got into combat I do not think I ever saw a combat has started. And I thought that it was like Bodenplate from 2 months back.

You specifically mentioned the last two FSO's. And last month definitely was NOT like Bodenplatte one from two month's ago.

I'll clarify better. I would of thought it would of been the previous month which was Bodenplate with unlimited reups. Not the Eastern Front FSO.

Not sure why you would believe that. The format used in the Bodenplatte FSO has not ever been used before is is not likely to ever be used again.

When I was in the air, and we got into combat I do not think I ever saw a combat has started. And I thought that it was like Bodenplate from 2 months back.

As the CM last night, I will speak to this.

I was informed of some wind settings that were absolutely nuts which I have no idea how they ended up set that way so I was chasing that to start the night along with a radar setting.  I thought everything was set properly after doing a quick recheck of what I could.  So no, you didn't see a combat has started because our group was quickly in the middle of it after that and before getting the chance to acknowledge that first blood had been drawn (plane damage).  Once the fighting started, it didn't let up for quite some time.  Once I got a second to breathe, bases were closed and I decided it was a little late to announce combat had begun.

So... between all the other craziness that happened with settings, that was an annoucement and a flip of a switch that was neglected/delayed because of me.

While I'm up here... I would like to ask others in the FSO community to step up to the plate and apply for the CM team.  Everyone wants to fly, BS, and have fun with your friends.  Help keep that alive by helping out.

I really do love this game and especially FSO and scenarios aspect of the game...that being said, thank you all for your hard work! I'm not ready to step up to the plate...yet! Definitely will keep this in mind and add to my goals

I have been considering it for some time now. Guess it’s time to pull the trigger.
