I might have to move some things around, call my guys in Geneva and Zurich etc. But yeah, I'm in.
Of course I need to look up its Bluebook value as it's obviously used. I'll need to get the mileage and check if it's been in any accidents as well. I wonder how old those tires are?
They have any FM2's?

If I had the 5 mil to spend, I would jump at it.

I can only imagine what the upkeep and maintenance costs.

If it has the original engine and prop gear I imagine it would be real expensive to overhaul it. It's not like there are parts being produced for it any more.

Pretty sure this bird was at the Reading airshow a few years back. Really washed to see this one. Was a new resto IIRC. It was parked away from the event so you couldn't get close to it. They started it up, taxi'd to the end of the runway. Think something happened on the run up they didn't like so they shut it down and towed it back to the ramp. That was a bummer! All the other Jap planes you see are just Tora Tora Tora T-6s.

Might be worth a message to Mitsubishi or Subaru on Facebook, you never know.

Vintage Radials
Anderson Aeromotive
vintage radials......mike nixon even does Db601 engines.
I'm thinking the best source for radials might be adapting formerly russian radials (now chinese) to fit other planes like in the recent FW190.
Dongan or Harbin still makes pretty high hp radials.
