The affect is from kids jumping all over the place in transfers. Will be hard to field a TEAM if you have a bunch of ME players. Really hard to develope a player if they are only here a few months. Transfers need to be off the field for a set time to stop the bouncing around.

Hard to root for teams and rivalries when the teams jump all over the place too. It's boiling down to a couple of mega-conferences filled with teams paying huge dollars for free agents. Don't we already have that with the NFL?
Can't wait for that storied rivalry between Stanford and Wake Forest to kick into high gear later in the month. It'll match that barn burner we had between Nebraska and Rutgers last Saturday. The Rutgers fans always mark their calendars for that one!
Oh well, at least we have the big Oklahoma/Oklahoma State game coming up. Oh, wait.....oops.

$$$ in college sports will ruin them..
Change in pro football is interesting process there..
The new kickoff rule is a great example.
Waiting for it to become multi millionaires being paid to play flag football lol

That being said.... this past weekend was supposed to be kind of quiet. Was that ever wrong.

Yeah, some great upsets and excitement for sure. I liked watching that Jeanty kid out at Boise State already hit 1000yds rushing and that Miami comeback was fun amongst other things.
All those good games kinda tamped down the venom and sarcasm I wanted to get out towards the NCCAA in my previous post. I come in hot then all of a sudden someone hands me a blended Margarita that's so cold I can barely hold it. The first couple sips punch me right in the cerebrum with brain freeze and suddenly, all is good across the land. Go <insert team here>!

I believe this is true. It certainly turned pro sports into a bad joke. The only thing I watch is hockey, because I used to play it, and the indy 500. The rest IMO has gone south.

When I was a kid, the indy 500 was broadcast in a delay.
Then an announcer says “mario andretti wins the Indy 500” “Now, the Indy 500”

We love that guy here in Boise, 2/3s of the country was trying to get him to jump into the transfer portal throwing big time money at him. And he elected to stay and play on the BLUE knowing that Boise State would never have the money to offer him what the big time schools were going too.

Despite being from Reno and completing undergrad studies at Nevada, I've admired BSU and the program they've built. Gonna miss the yearly battles.
The kid has some Barry Sanders in his game and has a big future. I hope he helps you guys beat one of the big boys in a bowl game this year.
