Title: VKB STECS Mini Plus
Post by: ColTomb on October 22, 2024, 03:20:00 PM
Does anybody have any VKB STECS Mini Plus setup options, tips, tricks, for AHIII ? This is the only game I play at this time. I am having problems with setting dual throttle, among other things. I have tried A_Mars, D_mars, Virtual etc. A_Mars is the only one that shows any movement in TEST Axes1.

Are you mapping within AH? I just got the STECS Standard and mapped my two throttles to X and Y.

Yes, Still can not get dual throttles to work. In AH what do you set the x and y axis to. Mine shows analog axis only with nothing to indicate x y throttles .

Run the Windows "set up usb game controllers" and see if those axes are listed there and working.

That will also tell you the name of the axes.

In game....

Goto options/map controllers

In the top left, use the drop down box to select your throttle.

In the list, ID your axis..... if you have a split throttle move the left handle and not which axia numbers change. Double click that axis in the list.

The window should have "analog" selected, scroll down and select which throttle you want it to control. Left in a split is usually throttle 1 and the right is throttle 2

If using a quadrant, you can map alll 4.

Click OK to close that window, map the other throttle(s) and click OK the save the settings and you should be ok.

Good Luck
