Title: Where is Oboe?
Post by: Animl-AW on November 07, 2024, 08:29:33 PM
Kind of a staple around here.
Anyone heard from him?

Is he lurking or moved on?

I see the name pop up occasionally in IL-2 but whether it is our AH Oboe I am unsure.

While we are on the topic of MIA pilots, anyone seen HORRIDO1?? Not like him to miss a scenario.

I just hope all are safe and healthy. Despite some trivial differences most of us are like family here. Never lose sight of the big picture.

I hope he and the rest of the MIAs are doin well, most important. Most of the tribe have good intensions.

IKR!!!   I cringe about these posts. Wish I could snap my fingers and NONE of you old puckers would leave :old: Alas, time comes for us all.........but I do NOT have to be ok with it!!! It does amaze me however.  We can form such strong bonds with guys we really don't know, that at every Memorial Flight, grown men are sobbing.  Pretty awesome family we have! :aok

Amen Buddy,

After years, I lost almost all my school - club - work friends, leaving just a handful of them. This game has become a place to share and relax -even with our discussions and differences - .
I hope someday a big reunion can happen to meet you old dogs in person.... :salute

Hey guys, I'm still around, safe and healthy, but toward the end of summer decided I should step away for a while.  Life and all, you know how it goes.  I still check the boards and appreciated seeing this post today, thank you.

I do go by Oboe in IL-2 and DCS also, but it's been a while since I've been on.

:salute all.
