AutoPilot/BombSight bug: When bombsight is selected with the autopilot
in the Constant-Airspeed/Climb mode, the autopilot reverts to level
flight mode and then reverts back to Constant-Airspeed/Climb mode
whenever the bombsight view is switched back to Cockpit or external
views. This occasionally results in a loss of control of the aircraft
when switching back and forth between BombSight and Cockpit/External
views.

I think you have to be in level mode if you want to be in the gunsight.

No, you dont have to be in level mode, I have used rudders to side slip while gunning before.
As for the OP, I dont think this is a bug. If you are bombing in a condition where you can depart from flight when jumping back to the pilots seat then the planes should depart from flight.

If you’re climbing during or after calibration, you won’t be landing bombs.
-
When in the bombsight you can rudder/stick left right and change speed or engage wep.
Lots of people use the .speed command to set a speed but I just use my hotas. I have engines split up for dual control.

You can not calibrate in speed mode, only in level flight. Preferable at a steady speed. As I recall, it was that way in AH2 also.

Don't think it is a serious inquiry..1st post obscene handle
