Black Sea map while in land mode yellow range gate jumps will not steady while in 16" guns

What were you shooting at and where was it? Sea mode or Land Mode? :noid

Shore batt other gunner had same problem

It means you're traversing across exactly where you should be firing.

It happens in land mode vs certain shore batteries only - it's a result of how some batteries are placed on their mounds and surrounding terrain.  I'll start tracking when I encounter them; it seems to occur on certain newer maps.

On Riftval map 8" guns work correctly in DX11.
In 16" range gate jumps when trying to change range not in turning turret!                                                         :old:

IIRC, there are no 16" guns on Riftval map. The only 16" guns in the game are on the Battle Ships. :bolt:

It's always on shore batteries on mounds where you are trying to elevate the range in land mode. The range will adjust up almost to the SB and then go down in distance.

Original post was Black Sea map and 16" guns sorry I was not clear in discussing two separate maps
