I've been rolling through the public IE Reddit and the likes... I CANNOT STAND and in no way whatsoever trust those Russians so it looks like Kaspersky is out for me too. Unless one of you has any good words on them too. I've been reading many positive reviews on Bitwarden antivirus and then the Password Manager which is a MUST for me.
I know on this BB and in the game, there are many brains out there. SO I ASK again what do you guys believe is the best of the two programs???

I have been using webroot for the last 20 years. In those 20 yrs, I have only had 2 virus sneek through to my computer. Both was easily removable by antivirus. It is non resource hungry like mcaffe and norton. I don't even shut it down to play games and my games play perfectly smooth.

Hey Morf.....QUAH! :neener:
I've been using ESET NOD32 Antivirus for 10+ years now and am very happy with it. It runs very efficiently in the background and has kept me virus free.

Just use windows defender. It's free and fine. Then pay for a password manager.

Avast. I use free version. Runs well, keeps bogeys out and does not seem to slow pc. Together w/it Malwarebytes free version.

Exactly what I do on my non-work machine. I even still trust Lastpass though they were hacked a couple of years ago.
Exclude your games from Defender or there could be a performance hit.

Never mind, I'm going to just stay with my more than a decade+ of Bitdefender.

If you don't open suspect e.mails or go to risky sites, you will likely never experience a virus.
I went from 1998 to now only using windows anti virus but I'm familiar with virus type activity having done IT work as a MCSE.
Many Anti-virus softwares are the enemy of a good ping.

I got a virus about a decade or so ago because I needed TeamViewer fast. I googled it and downloaded from the first site that popped up. That was a mistake. I knew it right away though and was easy to remove it. Working in IT since 94 though I have seen and removed many viruses. Not so much these last few years. There was big money in ransomware for a while. Now it's mostly phishing. Getting people to give their money away has never been easier.

I've heard Windows Defender is enough and that was from a former Microsoft employee.

I think of the idiots making or designing these Viruses and can only come up with 1 good solution... The pig Lucifer has everything they're asking for!
